P Rory Lynch BEng MSc PhD MICE CEng FGS

Rory is a geotechnical specialist with 30 years’ experience specialising in site investigation and geotechnical engineering. Projects range from residential developments to large infrastructure schemes.  He has particular expertise in foundation design, geotechnical analysis, slope stability and design of tailings dams and water storage lagoons. He has a comprehensive knowledge of geotechnical monitoring techniques and their application in managing geotechnical risks.

 

Robin Hawley BEng CEng MICE

A group director of an international engineering consultancy until 2014 Robin has over 35 years’ experience including Project Director roles on many major civil engineering projects in the UK and overseas. He held the role of Group Managing Director for the Environment, Energy, Maritime, Water Mining, Geotechnics and Tunnelling operations in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Robin has been a Reservoir Panel Engineer under the Reservoirs Act 1975 since 1992. Specifically he is a Service Reservoir Inspecting Engineer and a Supervising Engineer for all reservoirs.  He has recently undertaken such work on 28 reservoirs in the midlands. He is able to fulfill the role of Qualified Civil Engineer (QCE) for Service Reservoirs.
